MacWorld 2008, Keynote를 기다리는 Apple Fanboy 동향 & 뉴스

한국시각으로 16일 오전 2시, 불과 몇시간 남지 않은 시간에서 기다림의 흥분을 참지못해 gadget 뉴스가 쏟아져 나오는 일부 기사 페이지를 검색하다가 몇가지 재미난 Macworld 2008 동정을 몇가지 남겨드립니다.
(어떻게 보면 이 포스팅이 한창 Keynote 중간에는 과거의 예견이 되어버릴 날도 얼마 남지 않았습니다.)

좌측에 있는 사진은 Moscone Center 앞에서 Keynote를 기다리는 First Line이라 불리우는 선두 행렬의 5인을 찍은 사진입니다. 어떻게 보면 이분들이 진정한 Apple Fanboy 분들입니다. 이분들의 노력에 박수를 보냅니다.(밤새 터비시느라 고생하셨어요. 여러분들이 그야말로 현장에서 Keynote를 감상하시는 최고의 현장 증인이 되시겠군요)

이렇게 샌프란시스코, Moscone Center 앞에는 2008 Macworld를 기다리는, Steve Jobs의 광신도들이 앞다퉈 밤을 기다리면서까지 Keynote의 현장을 감상하려 준비하고 있습니다. 이미 한국에서도 생중계를 준비하고 있는 몇몇분들이 계십니다.(이는 동영상 중계가 아닌 텍스트 중계임에도 말입니다.)

Overnight을 해가며 Regist 하기 위해 끈질기게 기다리는 두명의 광팬, 여성들의 영상을 재미나게 표현한 Youtube VOD 입니다. 아마도 국내에서는 유명 연예인의 집앞에서 연예인들의 얼굴이라도 보기 위해서 밤을 세는 여고생들의 모습들이 이들과 매칭될 수도 있을 것이라 생각됩니다. 참으로 대단합니다.

이제는 실제로 Keynote에서는 어떠한 Product으로 Steve Jobs가 Fanboy를 놀라게 해줄지, CES에서 보다 더 큰 효과를 불러일으킬지 예측해볼 시간 입니다.

이미 줄곧 언급 되어온 Tablet 이냐, Semi-Macbook Pro냐 입니다. 어느정도 Tablet 보다는 13.1 inch semi-Macbook Pro로 굳어진 상황이 몇가지 기사들을 통해서 비춰지고 있습니다.

Wired claims last-minute "MacBook Air" details

Wired's Apple insider (heh) says it is. Their rendering is super skinny and shaped like a teardrop when it's closed, bulging at the hinge and tapering down to the edge. Ethernet ports are jettisoned in favor of wireless only—the most sensible explanation for the "Air" moniker yet. Aluminum casing, ultra-thin, all wireless—all reasonable given what's come out. WIRED에서는 Engadget 기사 내부에 위와 같은 이미지를 제보 형식으로 Rumor를 남기면서 어느정도 가시적인 형태를 보여주고 있습니다.(지난 아이팟 나노와 아이팟 클래식이 선보였을때, 아이팟 나노의 예측 형태가 거의 동일시 되었을때 처럼, 이번에도 저 형태로 나와준다면 어느정도 Merit가 있다고 생각됩니다.)

"A new portable isn't the only product that could see an upgrade at Macworld. Gartenberg said he expects to see the evolution of existing products this week. For instance, Gartenberg points to the Apple TV-previewed in September 2006 and introduced in its final form at last year's Expo-as a device that got overshadowed by the iPhone last year.

"Apple TV got lost in the shuffle, but Apple hasn't abandoned that device," Gartenberg said.

To that end, reports have emerged that Apple and News Corp. have signed an agreement to offer Twentieth Century Fox movies for rent through the iTunes Music Store-other studios are rumored to be part of the negotiations as well."
