[Break]New Macbook Pro로의 귀환, Multi-touch로 돌아오다

굳게 닫혀있던 Apple 전세계 Online-Store

Happy Tuesday를 기점으로 Apple Fanboy 이하 Gadget 들에게 루머로 돌던 소식을 실상화 하였습니다.

Macbook Pro가 드디어 몸단장을 다시 하고 돌아왔습니다. 기본 2.4GHz를 무장하고 Multi-touch, LED Backlight를 탑재한 2008년판 New Macbook Pro가 나왔습니다.

Apple이 고수하는 가격 Downgrade는 그대로 적용되어 2.4GHz $1,999로 시중에 얼굴을 보이게 되는군요.

이렇게 되면 Macbook Air와 유사한 스펙이 Macbook Pro에도 적용되는 룰이 적용됩니다.

또한 두께는 1인치로 더도 말고 덜도 말고 1인치에서 승부수를 두면서 타 랩탑과의 비교를 거부하는 Pro다운 두께로 Macbook Pro 구입을 망설이고 있는 이들에게 이만한 것은 없다라는 이미지를 풍기고 있는 것이 아닐까 합니다.

LED Backlit display 적용으로 한결 절약할 수 있는 Power saving이 더해졌으며, 17인치는 1920 X 1200 픽셀사이즈에서도 LED Backlit를 마음껏 즐길 수 있게 되었습니다.

Intel의 최신 Core 2 Duo Mobile chipset을 이용하여 효율성을 높이고 있다는 것이 Apple의 설명입니다.
(기본 메모리 2GB, 75% faster, 확장 4GB 가능, 200G HDD 기본, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB 기본)

하지만, 모습은 옛날 그대로, 알루미늄 바디에 있을 것이 다 있습니다.

현재 Apple Online Store US에 Update 된지 얼마 안되어 Blog 및 News 상황은 실시간으로 올라오고 있지 않으나, Apple inside에서는 아래와 같이 Text로 Update 상황을 알려주고 있었습니다.
