Google Earth가 이제는 iPod touch와 iPhone에서도 볼 수 있게 되었습니다. Mac Rumor에 나온 구글의 공식 릴리즈 기사를 보게 되면 iPod touch와 iPhone 전용 어플리케이션을 다운로드 받아 설치 할 수 있도록 Apple iTunes App Store에 "Version 1.0.0"으로 선보였습니다.
"Google Earth integrates with the iPhone's GPS to provide you your
current location, but you can also explore different areas on earth."
아이폰의 GPS를 이용하여 사용자의 현재 위치를 기반으로 움직이므로, iPhone의 공식 런칭 국가에서만 사용할 수 있다는 것이 참 아쉬운 점 입니다. 한국에서는 본 다운로드를 하려고 해도 "Korea"이기에 힘들다고 합니다.
