Google Reader를 iPhone에서도 쓸 수 있다

Google Reader와 Apple iPhone이 만나서 환상적인 합작품이 탄생하게 되었다.
iPhone에서 Open Application으로 Google Reader를 Test bed로 활용한 희한한 경우(?)가 탄생하게 된거다.

TechCrunch는 이렇게 밝히고 있다.

Google has plugged the Google Web ToolKit demonstrating an iPhone specific version of Google Reader.

The iPhone Reader combines the Google AJAX Feed API with a user interface geared for use on the iPhone.

The Google Web Toolkit can be used to create applications that, in the same code base, work well on an iPhone and a traditional desktop browser

-Google Web Toolkit(이하 GWT)는 유사 Code base를 기반으로 Application을 개발하는데 쓰이게 되는데, iPhone과 일반적인 데스크탑의 브라우저와 같은 일을 하게 되었다.

Google의 Code base를 바탕으로 iPhone에 Open API 형태로 Google Reader를 볼 수 있다는 것은 큰 발전적인 모델이 아닌 듯 싶다.

이전에도 Facebook이 iPhone에서도 구동하는 Application을 개발하여 테스트 한 것처럼 이번과 같은 Google Reader 탑재의 성공 케이스는 아마도 유사 모델의 가시적인 성공적인 개발로도 이어질 가능성이 높다.

아직은 iPhone에서의 케이스 일지는 모르나, 짧은 기간내에 다양한 디바이스에서도 Google Web Toolkit의 성공 케이스가 다양하게 나오길 바랄뿐이다.
